Our Research Strategy
Our research extends from the production of chia seeds and leaves to utilization of value added products.

The main areas of research are:
- Chia cultivation
- Value addition of chia seeds, leaves and stalks
- Community engagement in chia farming and utilization
- Chia processes development
- Chia integration with other super food crops like oyster mushrooms
Our collaborations
In order to address societal, industrial and policy questions, we have developed a number of successful partnerships. They widen our research capacity and help us better realize the research impact.
